The bed and breakfast

The mill´s grain silo was remodeld compleatly in 1999.

The breakfast room

can be used as a living room. Here you will find a coffee and a tea maker as well as interesting books and board games.

The rooms

are all equipped with a private bathroom, TV and free wifi.

 

We offer you a total of 19 beds in 8 rooms.

The river Tauber

at the passage across the river . In the background the “wobbly bridge”. A steep path leads over this footbridge up to Rothenburg.

The Topplerschlösschen

Our neighborhood. Summer house of the famous mayor Heinrich Toppler from 1388.

The mill

with  belts and wheels  and some roller mills from 1906. The Fuchsmühle grained flour until 1989, now the old Zuppinger waterwheel is used to generate electricity.

bird’s-eye view

It checks Rothenburg from the top. Clearly the city wall is visible. The Tauber flows beneath the city. The Tauber Valley is famous for its mills. You can take a lot of enjoyment bike. Rothenburg and the surrounding area offer numerous tours. The 1000-km-cycling and hiking tours in the region are among the finest in Germany. If you go quietly in a balloon over the Taubertahl, you will see the idyllic Fuchsmuehle.

Up to walk across the “wobbly bridge” and then the old donkey steep climb, you reach the historic old town of Rothenburg within 15 minutes. One of the main trade goods of the city in the Middle Ages, sheep wool from the Tauber Valley.
