For more
than 600 years the buildings of the
Fuchsmühle, lying in the deep valley of the river Tauber, have
been a familiar sight from the walls of the historical town of
Rothenburg.
Located
in the close vicinity of the town, it was of major importance
as
a flour mill in the Middle Ages. Via the historical path, the
fresh grounded flour was transported directly
into Rothenburg on donkeys backs.
Today
you
live in the Fuchsmuehle, with a view of the old castle wall and the
town, directly beside the river Tauber that quitely feeds the
mill´s creek year in, year out.
We have
completely
renovated and redecorated one of the old mill buildings, the silo, in the year
1999. There are: 1 singleroom, 4 doublerooms,
1 trippleroom, 1 quadroom and 1 six beded appartement.

The bedrooms are "no
smoking" and have private bathrooms.
We
serve an rich and healthy breakfast buffet partially with
organic and fair trade products.
BookCafé Fuchsmuehle. Housemade cakes, Coffee and second hand books in the old mill. Tours of the
mill possible. Open April- October, Saturday, Sunday, Celebration days, 14- 19
